How we should understand time by the perspective of circularity? A new approach to how people understand the time and connect with it, individually and collectively.
Personally to myself the concept of circular economies is connected with understanding and connecting to a natural flow. And what does it mean to flow? We can talk about the blood that flows in our veins. Or when, easily and abundantly, feelings emerge from our chest, ideas from our mind, words from our mouth, and, from our hands, actions. The word “circular” itself gives us a hint: when something is circulating, it means that it is in motion. And also constantly changing. I am Gustavo Nogueira de Menezes, founder of Torus. We are a Time Lab studying the connection between all these subjects with our comprehension of time. I invite you to question, individually and as a society, how our relationship with time affects our reality.

Gustavo Nogueira de Menezes
Coming from a background in communication, design, and technology, I have 15 years of experience in these areas of knowledge, speaking in festivals and working alongside advertisement agencies, brands, platforms, and media companies. I spent the last 5 years researching and studying time in its full spectrum and understanding zeitgeist - the spirit of the time - as a social ergonomics manifestation of our collective perception of the moment in which we live. Together with a transdisciplinary community of change-makers around the world, we aim to hack how people and organizations connect with time and manifest themselves in the present, in search of a higher level of consciousness.
