Business strategies have been redesigned over the past couple of months in a way that any one will think its Q4 of 2020. Board rooms may be tempted to drop corporate responsibilities especially the social narrative thinking they are an added cost.
But from my experience over the years, consumers respond positively to those who stick with them, those who take their corporate responsibility seriously and design for good while taking community issues as a critical cornerstone of their new post-covid strategy.
As an environmental engineer and management consultant, I want to share with the audience why it's important to take corporate responsibility even more seriously now especially in developing countries where public funding for infrastructure will be restricted to respond to the aftershocks of COVID-19.
