About this speaker
His main interest is to create an ecologically and socially responsible design studio that works within the circular economy system. Among his concerns is the way human beings relate to nature and act upon it. In this sense, he focuses in carrying out projects that reuse objects that have already completed their useful life in order to transform them into new ones. Examples of this are the Nido Lamp and the Net A Lamp. He has also carried out ephemeral projects for space intervention with recycled materials which interact with lighting generating a sort of installation. He is the founder of OPQRS design studio who’s main goal is to create circular design: the development of innovative, ecological, social and aesthetic solutions to a specific projects. The Studio´s operational structure is grounded on the basis of understanding the interaction between people and objects, research and experimentation with material, technologies and applications as a fundamental practice and the collaboration with professionals of different fields.
