About this speaker
I have over 10 years experience as a leader in tech industry and have used this experience to develop my coaching skills. I have a degree in engineering and am a certified coach. I have been working with clean/green-tech start-ups for the last year as a coach with Climate-KIC and love the energy, creativity, enthusiasm and passion.
I am a mother of two adopted daughters who are six and nine years old. My husband and I adopted them after encountering multiple miscarriage and our children have changed our life and our perspective on many issues. One being my work. After supporting my mother living with and dying from dementia whilst going through burnout, I took a long, hard look at my life. I realized I was unfilled at work and was not following my passions. I took the scary step and left a well paid, secure job to set up on my own. I choose to listen to what I really wanted to do and where I felt I could have more impact in the world through supporting others.
Even writing these things down in one place can be hard. However I know that my life story (especially those hard parts) is what makes me who I am today. It is also part of the reason I have chosen to support others through coaching to find their true passions; recognize their strengths and get to know themselves in a new and positive way!
